摘要本研究的目的是探究參與育幼院辦理2013年至2017年間五年單車環島計畫的青少年在活動結束後再次回顧此經驗的看法與至今的影響，從中瞭解活動方案的意義，及提供欲辦理相關活動之單位參考與建議。本研究採質性研究半結構式深度訪談，訪談對象為參與單車環島活動兩屆以上共六名參與者為受訪對象進行研究，訪談分析分為「環島夢想的開始」與「受訪者在單車環島中的反思與影響」之歷程回顧。從參與者的經驗分析結果得知環島前的單車訓練有助於環島的體能狀態及面對環境的反應，能降低活動風險，並能培養團隊默契與凝聚力；出發過程的活動多元性會影響隊員的感受及參與意願、單車長期辦理與關心特定族群有助於同理心的養成、團隊的士氣與

運作會受同儕及工作人員的互動方式而影響、檢討會是促使自我反思的媒介；單車環島結束後至今的影響包含代步交通工具的選擇與社會適應的幫助，社會適應包含融入群體、就學適應、問題處理的勇氣與能力、時間管理以及受助者變成助人者的心境轉換。在安置生活參與單車環島活動皆持正向評價，有別於同年齡層同儕的經歷，且環島能拓展視野在作息規律的安置生活中增添了許多色彩。本研究依循參與者的經驗嘗試從兒童權利公約、體驗教育及長遠效益的觀點進行討論，並予以實務應用之建議為以下五點：活動方案規劃理念與工作人員分工須有共識、個案參與活動考量個別化目標、規劃獨處時間、運動能力的養成與保健以及機構工作人員的教育訓練，以利欲辦理之單位
